OUR SERVICES
We provide prepaid metering administration services which include:

Outsourced Managed Vending Method

    1. The Outsource Managed Vending method is whereby meter users purchase recharge vouchers from retail outlets such as online banking and banking Application methods; retail outlets; bank ATMs; bank deposits; fuel stations and any other payment channels.
    2. Payment Period: Payments to landlords of collected amounts are done no later than the last working day of every month. The payment will consist of all deposits collected by the meter user from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month. Between the 26th of the current month and the last day of the month, we reconcile accounts and pay over the amounts received, discounting the applicable service fee/s. Payments will be accompanied by notification to the email address provided. Reports: Reports on your registered meter/s are available in real-time and online from Enbaya Cyprus Limited ’  management system. Landlords are recommended to log in and check reporting from time to time at http://www.prepaidmeters.net
    3. Invoice: You will receive an invoice and Statement for the service fee charged for the period. The invoice is for your accounting records only as this fee is deducted from the amounts paid out to you.
    4. Communication:To ensure that  all of Enbaya Cyprus Limited ’ messages, invoices and  proof of payments are received by you please ensure  you “white-list” the domain prepaidmeters.com in your email client or any spam software you or your service provider may use.
    5. Very Important: If any of the above details are missing or incorrect you will not receive your payments in time and the month’s payment may be delayed to the following month or until such time as payment details are corrected.

Self-Managed Vending Method

    1. Self-Managed Vending Method means that you will be managing the meters yourself. The meter user can only purchase tokens from the person registered on this form in Section 1 and/or 2. This also means that the meter user cannot purchase vouchers or tokens from any other payment channels.
    2. Please note, if you wish meter users to purchase from retail outlets, you need to ask our Support Team to register your meters on the Outsource Managed Vending method.
    3. With Self-Managed Vending method you will be charged a flat fee per meter per month irrespective of the quantities of transactions per month or value of tokens generated. The fixed fee per meter per month is payable via debit order. Due to debit order costs the debit order will be processed as soon as your balance due reaches EURO 20
    4. Please note that should the vending fees not be paid for whatever reason, the meters will be disconnected from the vending system due to non-payment of monthly fees, wherein the system automatically sends an email to you advising you of the disconnection of your meter/

Terms of service

    1. The Customer agrees that a service charge per meter per month will be charged for Self-Managed Vending method.
    2. The Customer agrees that the Outsource Managed Vending method is charged at the channel percentage pricing.
    3. The Customer agrees that should there be any changes in these fees that the Customer will be informed in writing of such changes.
    4. The Customer agrees and understands that there is no fixed duration for this agreement.
    5. The Customer agrees, if they wish to change the management method, the Customer needs to request such a change in writing with 30 calendar days’ notice in order to reconcile  their account.
    6. The Customer understands that once they request said change, the Customer needs to inform the meter user of this change and the related payment changes for purchases of utilities.
    7. Should the meter user continue to vend using  the Outsource Managed Vending method, the Customer understands that they will continue to pay collection fees as above mentioned for those purchases.
    8. The Customer understands that should they change to the Self-Managed Vending method, the bank account they provided at registration will be debited with the monthly service fixed fee, unless they complete a new form with new banking details and instructions. The Customer understands and agree that no changes in banking details or debit orders will take effect until such time as they complete, sign and send to Enbaya Cyprus Limited  a new Registration Form.
    9. The Customer understands that should they wish to move their meters to another service provider that Enbaya Cyprus Limited  reserves the right to charge an administration fee for processing the key-change tokens.
    10. The Customer understands and agrees that it is their responsibility to provide the meter users with all invoices and statements related to electricity collection fees and any other related invoices and statements related to the provision of utilities as required by law and they understand that Enbaya Cyprus Limited  does not provide such to any meter user.
    11. The Customer understands and agrees that they will have to supply  the meter user the User Manual and correct instructions to purchase utilities, such as, but not limited to, the correct banking details for cash deposits and ensure that the reference number of any such deposits is at all times the meter number. The Customer agrees that he/she  will not hold Enbaya Cyprus Limited  or its representatives liable for any deposits that are incorrect where the reference number of the deposit is not the meter number or is the incorrect meter number.
    12. The Customer understands and agrees that a prepaid utility purchase cannot be cancelled or reversed after the fact.
    13. The Customer understands and agrees that any outstanding payments that are due to Enbaya Cyprus Limited  when having selected  the Outsource Managed Vending method will be deducted from his/hers  pay-out and should  no funds be available  the Customer understands and agrees that such outstanding payments will be debited from his/her account.
    14. The Customer understands and agrees that  any consulted legal advice relating to these terms and conditions of service of the vending service supplied  and fees as detailed in this Agreement and any related documents published is available on the www.prepaidmeters.com  website.
    15. The Customer understands and agrees that this Agreement may change from time to time and it is his/her responsibility to keep up to date  with any changes to this agreement.
    16. The Customer understands and agrees to pay any costs, including bank charges which may result from debit orders being returned unpaid for any reason.
    17. The Customer understands and agrees that this agreement applies to any current meters they are registering including any future meters they register with Enbaya Cyprus Limited .
    18. The Customer understands and agrees that should they sign on behalf of a legal entity or trust, they acknowledge that they are duly authorized to sign on behalf of the legal entity or trust at time of signing this document and should it be found that I was not authorized to sign this agreement they will be personally liable for any damages or debts that may arise or  incurred by the landlord and/or Enbaya Cyprus Limited .

Your responsibilities

    1. Reinstallation costs for assessment and replacement of faulty and/or damaged meters rests with the Customer
    2. To make use of  Enbaya Prepaid Meter’s services, you must purchase and install a prepaid electricity and/or water and/or gas meter(s) and register the  meter(s) with us.
    3. Should you fail to collect or communicate a delivery address, Enbaya Cyprus Limited  reserves the right to recirculate, transfer ownership at discretion of Enbaya Cyprus Limited  or alienate the prepaid meter within 60 days.
    4. You must ensure that the electricity meter is installed by a registered electrician and that he/she has received the certificate of compliance upon installation. alternatively, you may instruct one of our qualified technicians to do so at an additional charge.
    5. You must ensure that a water meter is installed by a qualified plumber and that such water meter installation complies with all applicable legislation, regulations and by-laws alternatively, you may instruct one of Enbaya Cyprus Limited ’ plumbers to do so at an additional charge.
    6. You must not tamper with your meter(s). For instance (but not limited to) by bridging and bypassing the meter. Should you tamper with or disconnect the meter the manufacturer’s warranty.
    7. You undertake to  supply Enbaya Cyprus Limited  proof of your current tariffs from your utility provider electricity and/or water tariff  of the property and ensure that Enbaya Cyprus Limited  Implements the annual tariff rate changes. . You must ensure that the rates do not exceed any regulated or approved tariffs that apply to the property.
    8. You must ensure that the monthly collections correspond with what you owe the property’s utility  providers.
    9. You are responsible for settling all accounts with your property’s utility providers.
    10. You must inform us in writing  should you want to charge your tenants a percentage of the shared electricity/gas/water costs, for instance, the cost of powering the electric gate or common areas, and what that percentage should be.
    11. You undertake to  indicate in writing whether we should collect our service and channel fees from you or the tenant. We will automatically collect the service fee from the tenant if such indication is not made. .
    12. You must request login credentials for Enbaya Cyprus Limited ’ online portal and keep them secure.  You undertake not to share such credentials with anyone.
    13. Enbaya Cyprus Limited  supply  sub-meters and the meters must only be installed downstream from your supply authority’s meters

Payments and fees – customization and flexibility

    1. An Installation Fee will be charged should a Customer request the assistance from Enbaya Cyprus Limited  to appoint an electrician and /or plumber
    2. Administration Fees are only applicable to Retail Customers and are updated from time to time. An increase or decrease will be discretionary from  Enbaya Cyprus Limited , and linked to specials (if applicable).
    3. Outsourced Managed Vending Fee is fixed to the applicable vending percentage related to EFT and / or retail. Such fee  is agreed upon at the time of entering into this agreement.
    4. Self-Managed Vending Fee is a fixed amount as determined by Enbaya Cyprus Limited  and is set at the time of entering into this  agreement.

Enbaya Cyprus Limited responsibility

  1. Warranty of 12 months applicable on all products.
  2. Our liability in terms of this contract is limited to direct losses and will not exceed 150% of our service fees for the relevant meter(s) in the month before the month in which the claim arose.
  3. Other than where we expressly assume responsibility in this contract, we will not under any circumstances whatsoever be liable for any other loss, damages, costs, attorney and advocate’s fees, penalties, fines or expenses that result from or are connected to performance in terms of this agreement.
  4. We will not under any circumstance whatsoever be liable for any costs, losses or damages you suffer or incur in relation to:
  5. The use of or access to the services by you or the tenant or any occupant of the property; and
  6. A fault in any meter(s) outside of the prepaid metering system or our online portal and
  7. Meter tampering; and
  8. Incorrect tariffs set for Customer’s meter; and
  9. Circumstances outside our control; and
  10. Service interruptions of utility providers of third-party service providers.
  11. The Customer indemnifies Enbaya Cyprus Limited   from any losses, damages, costs, legal fees  (at the rate charged by our legal representatives), penalties, fines or expenses that arise from:
  12. The Customer’s negligence; and
  13. Non-compliance with applicable laws, by-laws and regulations; and
  14. The Customer’s failure to fulfill any responsibilities in terms of this agreement; and Illegal, wrongful or fraudulent act or omission.
  15. Enbaya Cyprus Limited do not provide any warranties except for those specified in this agreement.  Specifically, Enbaya Cyprus Limited   do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Privacy

  • Enbaya Cyprus Limited  will keep the Customers’s information safe and confidential. Please read our Privacy Notice on our website for additional information about our privacy practices.

Breach

  • If either party in this agreement fails to comply with the terms of this agreement and fail to remedy the breach within ten days after having received a written notice to do so, the other party is entitled to exercise all remedies available to it in law.

Administration of this contract

  1. This is Enbaya Cyprus Limited’s entire contract relating to this transaction. Enbaya Cyprus Limited reserve the right to change this Agreement in future. We will let you know of any changes that could affect you by publishing the updates on our website.
  2. If either party fails to enforce any clause in this agreement it will not affect the other party’s legal rights and responsibilities.
  3. If for whatsoever reason  any clause in this  agreement becomes invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the clauses remain enforceable.
  4. South African law governs this agreement.
  5. Legal notices addressed to Enbaya Cyprus Limited  must be delivered to Andrea Patsalidi,5 Capircornia, Flat/Office 303,Egkomi, 2408,Nicosia,Cyprus and a copy to support@prepaidmeters.com
  6. Enbaya Cyprus Limited   will send legal notices to you at the property address or any other address that you notified us of in writing and a to your email address.
